Ten years ago during the housing crisis I managed the Foreclosure Prevention Department at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa, California. Later, I got my California Real Estate Brokers License and opened my own office helping distressed homeowners.

Many of my clients asked me to do their tax returns because they trusted me after successfully getting the loan modification. After many years working with my clients I realized that I enjoyed my relationships with them. The trust I established with them was built on mutual goals. And they continue as my client to this day.

Over time, I realized that I enjoyed taxes and tax law. After working as an Accredited Department of Justice Representative with the USCIS in immigration law, I realized that not only am I skilled at interpreting Federal procedures, but that many Latino clients did not have adequate financial counseling or representation.

I decided to focus on the economic side of my clients and opened Tax Office & Associates™ to service the tax needs of individuals, families, and small business entrepreneurs.
